Goals
Four regional Noyce networks will share their experiences and best practices in serving their regional communities to support and continuously engage Noyce scholars and fellows in effective STEM teaching. PIs/co-PIs and project personnel in current, former, or future Noyce grants will have the opportunity to learn what these networks have to offer in their regions. Noyce scholars and fellows will also learn about the events, workshops, and professional development opportunities within their regions.
Evidence
Regional Noyce Networks are the glue for the professional learning communities within their regions. They all offer workshop and PD opportunities, conferences, and other meetings. There is not solely one way offering all these opportunities for the Noyce community. Regional network representatives will share their experiences for a crosspollination among the regional networks.
Proposal
Four regional Noyce networks will share their experiences and best practices in serving their regional communities to support and continuously engage Noyce scholars and fellows in effective STEM teaching. These networks are Midwestern Regional Network, Northeast Noyce Professional Learning Network, Southeastern Regional Noyce Network, and Western Regional Noyce Network. PIs/co-PIs and project personnel in current, former, or future Noyce grants will have the opportunity to learn what these networks have to offer in their regions. Noyce scholars and fellows will also learn about the events, workshops, and professional development opportunities within their regions. If you would like to know what regional networks are or connect with them, this workshop is a great chance to do so by interacting with each regional network representative.
