Abstract
The project entails analysis of student interviews to build relationships and book readings from How to be an Antiracist. Our group chose to research and analyze how this project and this book can influence our student teaching and future teachings. This analysis allowed us to look more deeply ay how we connect with students from different backgrounds and help students become more engaged in the content by building deeper connections. Specifically, we analyze these topics through a Teaching for Social Justice lens in order to incorporate the community of the students into the classroom.
