Abstract

Many college undergraduates are unfamiliar with what responsible conduct of research consists of and when it comes time for them to conduct their own research they won’t be as prepared as they could be regarding adhering to scientific integrity and proper conduct in research. This poster displays my research to determine what areas concerning RCR are students familiar and unfamiliar with (plagiarism, fabrication, data falsification). Based on the results of this data faculty at Saint Leo University and other universities can determine what areas of RCR they would want to focus on teaching their science major students.
