Abstract

This study aims at researching how mathematics can be applicable to student interests in a 10th grade Geometry classroom. An initial student survey was given to the students and geometry-based activities were created centered around interests shown in the survey. Qualitative observations were made during the conduction of this project in order to understand how students responded to these interest-based activities.
