Background:

Hi, my name is Kara White and I am a senior at the University of Missouri. I am originally from Florissant, MO. I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my friends. I look forward to being a teacher in the near future!

Why do you want to teach:

I want to teach because I absolutely love working with children and young adults. I want to inspire the youth to work hard and never give up on their dreams.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

I remember the first time I actually taught students in a classroom, it was a part of the summer internship that the(TDM)2 program offers. From that experience I realized that I wanted to be a teacher.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce program has meant a great deal to me. It has enabled me to continue my college education at a low cost to my parents and attend conferences to help me develop professionally.
