I am a dedicated teacher who shares all the innovations and strategies that I learn with my students. I am a mentor of other mathematics teachers in the school and district.

Why do you want to teach:

I love to teach because is a memorable experience. It makes you feel that you are an essential part of the society through your contributions of knowledge and experience. It’s the way that you can make some difference in a human being.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

One student told me that he now understands the importance of the mathematics in his life and all the applications that it has. I had this student in class and years later, I met him again. He told me that because he learned to love math in my class, he was now studying to be an architect.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

It’s a program that wants to improve mathematics education and gives opportunities to teachers and expands all their knowledge.
