Background:

I am currently a student at Hofstra University. I am working towards becoming a secondary education mathematics teacher with a minor in psychology.

Why do you want to teach:

I want to continue what my teachers started; I want to give back and help future students.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

In fifth grade I learned the impact a teacher can have on his or her students. My fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Traum, taught me to love Social Studies. I want to teach my students to love mathematics.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce Program has given me the opportunity to learn under the instruction of expert teachers. It has also provided me with the opportunity to connect with other aspiring academic figures.
