Background:

I am a graduating senior, majoring in Biology and General Science Education, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia by way of Highland Park, New Jersey. I love teaching; my clinical experiences as well as personal teaching experiences have given me such joy. I am excited to begin my journey in the education field.

Why do you want to teach:

When I look back on my life, I realize that I have always been teaching in some capacity. I am good at teaching and enjoy relaying information in different, innovative ways. I also love when students have “ah ha” moments as a result of something I’ve said.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

During a pre-clinical observations, a group of students were struggling with a topic the teacher was teaching and I was able to go to their table and explain it differently and they got it!

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce Program has changed my life! I have met new and interesting people and gained several mentors from my university!
