Background:

I am a Hispanic female. I am in my junior year at California State Dominguez Hills studying biology.

Why do you want to teach:

It is something I always wanted to do. I have always looked up to my teachers, and really admired the work they did.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

I have only had the opportunity to be a teacher’s assistant, but know that it feels good when a student smiles because they just learned something new and interesting. It makes you smile along with them.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce program is the vehicle by which I will get to my teaching career. The assistance this program offers is beyond anything I would have imagined; the Noyce staff at Dominguez Hills is kind and helpful.
