I received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in May 2007. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for the last 5 years.
Why do you want to teach:
I would like to make a difference and have a career that allows me to still be a good mom and spend time with my kids.
Describe a memorable teaching experience:
All of my mathematics teachers throughout the years have had a huge impact on my life. They are some of the first people who told me that I would make a great teacher if I would be interested in pursuing it as a career.
What does the Noyce program mean to you:
It has been a wonderful experience and opened a lot of great opportunities, now and in the future.
