Background:

I come from a low-income household. Both of my parents immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico. My parents divorced when I was an infant. I am also the first member of my family to attend and graduate from college.

Why do you want to teach:

I want to teach math in high school. So, that would be algebra I and II, geometry, per-calculus, and statistics.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

A memorable teaching experience that stands out to me was when a student told me that they were eager for me to start taking over the class because of how thorough and simple I made the material.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce program has already meant so much for me because I have learned a vast amount of knowledge in such a short time. I really feel that this program is developing me to become an amazing and effective teacher. Also,I love being surrounded by both peers and teachers of which all share a passion for teaching.
