Background:

I grew up in San Bernardino county and have always wanted to be a teacher. Now I think it is my chance to give back to San Bernardino and teach the next generations to come.

Why do you want to teach:

I want to eventually teach AP Calculus, but I want to start teaching at a middle school my first few years of teaching.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

I have had several students tell me what a great role model I am and how much of a great teacher I will be. This stands out in my mind because that is the reason I want to be a teacher in the first place. I want the students to know how much I care.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce program has meant the opportunity for me to get much valued experience in a classroom with wonderful mentor teachers.
