Why do you want to teach:

I love mathematics as a whole; the level of thinking, the skill of problem solving, and the importance of logic is appealing to me. I love children and adolescents because I love to watch them learn and grow intellectually and emotionally.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

I had tutored a High School student for three years and she was a recluse. Getting the mathematics across to her was challenging, but once she understood, her face lit up and she gained so much confidence. Seeing the transformation in her as a person was precious.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

Being a member of the Noyce program is an honor. I feel that this program will mold me into a wonderful teacher, which satisfies my ultimate goal.
