Why do you want to teach:

I want to teach because I love to help students learn and see them succeed inside and outside of the classroom.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

So far my best moment happened in a meeting with a former student. Another teacher asked if I would be be coming back to Georgetown next year. And the student looked at me and said “You better come back next year, I’ll be graduating next year and I want you to be there.”

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

The Noyce program has been a wonderful opportunity for me to grow as a teacher. The support and mentoring that I have received has been awesome. I would not be the teacher that I am without the Noyce program.
