Western Kentucky University
Background:
Most of my family is or was involved in education. Although only an undergraduate, I have made dramatic advances in my teaching style. I may have little experience, but I have the drive to become the best teacher I can.
Why do you want to teach:
I want to teach simply because I love math, and I love people. I think that mathematics is so interesting if only it is taught right. I want to be that person who teaches math right.
Describe a memorable teaching experience:
One of the first lessons I did on my own. I really felt like a teacher because I was the one who guided the children.
What does the Noyce program mean to you:
The Noyce Program has meant motivation. Before, I was just going to college and worrying about grades. Now I get good grades because I try hard in these classes in order to be the best future educator I can.
