Background:

I am a mother of 4 wonderful children (3 boys and 1 girl). I taught science and math for 3 years at Largo Middle School before staying home with the children. We moved to Wisconsin (where I am originally from)where I currently instruct in basic education for adult.

Why do you want to teach:

I feel teaching makes a difference to me as well as others. I enjoy the education environment and the community.

Describe a memorable teaching experience:

I had a boy tell me, Mrs. Fitzgerald, I wish we had school every day because I hate going home. I feel school brings a sense of stability and consistency for all.

What does the Noyce program mean to you:

It has enabled me to continue to teach in secondary education after moving to Wisconsin.
