Why do you want to teach:
I teach mathematics because I understand the need for impoverished students to be educated through rigorous mathematics.
Describe a memorable teaching experience:
The most memorable moment I have had in teaching mathematics is when a student of mine was able to understand how to factor through a situation that she could relate to.
What does the Noyce program mean to you:
This program has given me the opportunity to better educate myself. By attending the University of Georgia, I have learned a lot about how to teach students who attend inner city high schools.
