Need

There is a high need for STEM teachers in the state of Alabama. AAMU Noyce program helps to provide high-quality STEM teachers in Alabama.

Goals

How to recruit, prepare and retain high-quality STEM teachers for high-need school districts.

Approach

We carefully selected scholars and provided high-quality training with seminars and workshops.

Outcomes

We recruited 21 Noyce scholars and many of them are working in high-need school districts.

Broader Impacts

The minority community greatly benefitted from our Noyce scholars.
