University of Georgia Announces Noyce Award

Ten recent graduates or professionals in mathematics and science have returned to classes at the University of Georgia this fall to become future math and science teachers in Georgia’s public schools.

The first class of Noyce scholars at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth have received their initial licensure in teaching. They will be teaching mathematics and science in middle and high schools.

The School of Science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis is challenging science majors to transfer their enthusiasm and knowledge to students in middle school and high school classrooms through the Robert Noyce Summer Internship program.
